As some of you guys may already know, Rime and I took the advantage of some down time during Covid to renovate a 19th century farm house in Provence. It's been a 12 months project with blood, sweat and tears, but renovation came to an end just before July for us to enjoy a perfect Provence summer with Juliette, Andrea, Vesper (our cat) and Charlie, a baby cocker spaniel who has been the latest addition to our family.
We renovated everything from the ground up, opened walls to create massive window panes, renovated the floors, walls, the roof, turned a garage into a work studio, knocked down walls, built a deck around the pool, created a 400 meters to limit the property, created a 200 square meter terrace on the Northern side and finished with the landscaping of the property. We imagined and designed everything ourselves without the help of an architect and sourced every piece of furniture by ourselves. Here is a tour of our new haven.
